Martin V. DeNinno Sr. Obituary
DeNINNO, Martin V., Sr. Feb. 6, 1935 - June 4, 2010 Beloved husband of the late Nancy J. DeNinno (nee Crean); Dear son of the late Martin N. DeNinno and Julia (Mevoli); Loving father of Lisa (Billy) McLaney, Martin, Jr. (Elizabeth), Mark (Maureen) and Matthew (Jennifer). Proud "YaYa" of Alyssa, Martin III, Danielle, Nicholas, Kathleen, Dominic, Celia and Sumer. Dear brother of Robert, of Washington Township, and the late Carole Kunicki, of Washington Township . The oldest of three, Marty was born & raised in South Camden on Chestnut Street. He graduated from Camden High in 1953 and worked at RCA for 15 years as a cabinet maker. He owned and operated the Penn Lounge, in Pennsauken, for 5 years ('58-'63) before starting his own business, Delaware Valley Irrigation, in 1964 which he continued to run until his passing. Marty was a good friend and loved by all who knew him. He could be seen around Collingswood at his favorite places: answering the phone at Vincent & Joseph's, enjoying Merlutz at Nunzio's, or sampling the cream puffs at DiBartolo's. His annual trips to Puerto Rico developed friends across the nation. He will be dearly missed by all.
