Dear Mrs Bonelli and family members:
I was also a friend of Tim's and Jim's, since freshman year at Bishop Eustace Prep in 1966. I'm sure there are many, along with Larry and I, who passed through the house in Haddon Heights over the years, and remember being greeted warmly by Mr. Bonelli, with his husky voice and gregarious manner. I grew up thinking Mr. Bonelli was the cool man's man, always a smile on his face, always a welcoming greeting and an offer of refreshments. And Tim's mom, she had a memorable laugh and always seemed glad to see you. I wasn't aware of Mr. Bonelli's noble World War II experience -- the greatest generation is fading away... Every day now, I will miss all of the Bonelli men, each of whom died too young -- even Jim, Sr. -- he always seemed young to me. I regret never having the chance to say goodbye to any of them.
I also want to wish Dorothy Bonelli peace and comfort during this time and always.
May the Bonelli boys rest in peace together; may their spirits live on with us. Love, Bill Lalli
