AGE: 65 Years • Maple Shade
(nee DeVault) passed away on November 23, 2014.
Beloved mother of Danine DeVault (Joseph Hiles), Nicholas Hunt (Kelly) and Nadia Koppenhaver (Mathew). Loving grandmother of Mia, Sadie, Jameson, Gabe and Evan. Dear sister of Jess DeVault, Kim Calhoun, Elsa Murphy and Bobbie Santiago. Also survived by best friend Carol Mchale and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prior to retirement, Christine was employed as an OR Nurse at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia for over 20 years. She was a United States Navy Commander, serving 22 years and was deployed three time to support various operations within the Middle East. Christine was also the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal.
Relatives and friends are invited to the celebration of Christine's Life on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 9 AM the Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 236 E Main St, Maple Shade, NJ 08052, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please bring a new unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots. Arrangements under the direction of Eichel Funeral Home in Pennsauken.

While serving in Desert Storm, Chris came to visit me after I broke my left leg and the facet joints, L4 and L5. I will never gorget how beautiful she was.

There are no words that can express how proud I am that I had you for my sister. You had more strength, wisdom and courage than anyone I have ever known. It's so hard to think that you are gone.
