Anice Marie Howard, 82, passed away Monday December 3, 2012, in Evansville.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 54 years, James; parents Norman and Ada Mae (Tuley) Scales; brother, Woodrow Scales; and half sister, Pearl Powers.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Lynn (James) Siebe and Patricia Ann (Donald "Mo") Julian; grandchildren, Jason (Julie) Conner, Ryan (Rachel) Conner, Christina (Ryan) Lakin and Tricia (Bobby) Green; stepgrandchildren, Ryan (Shannon) Siebe and Jonathon (Robin) Siebe; great-grandchildren, Alison Conner, Thadyn Conner, Ayawyn Conner, Bryce James Lakin, Caleb Lakin, Alexandria Marie Green and Danielle Green; stepgreat-grandchildren, Eden Siebe, Ezra J. Siebe, Tyson Siebe, Jonathan Green, Michael Green, Luke Spirko and Jake Spirko; Godchildren, Shannon (Barton) Bellessa, Ronnie Howard and Michael Howard. Also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Anice was a devoted wife, mother, ma-ma and dear friend who loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to that she was a teacher/owner of House of Ceramics, teaching over 100 students. She was the first librarian for Warrick Co. Library, Lynnville branch, serving for 28 years, member order of Eastern Star Lynnville Chapter, Lynnville United Methodist Church, past member of Lynnville Evening Angels and Lynnville Lioness Club. More recently she was active in water aerobics classes and meeting two times a month with past classmates and friends.
Funeral Service 2 p.m. Saturday December 8, 2012, at Bradley's Colonial Chapel in Boonville, with Pastor Scott Westerman officiating. Visitation Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. and from noon to service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lynnville Cemetery.
