Billy F. Crocker, 73, born August 11, 1939 in Selma, N.C., passed away Sat. April 27, 2013 at his home in Chandler.
Billy was a devoted Christian and attended Christian Fellowship Church. He worked for General Electric for 35 years until he retired, then he worked for Huebner & Sons until Dec. 23, 2012.
He was a U.S. Army 101st Airborne veteran.
He was a dedicated volunteer worker for Bread Of Life Ministry and a devoted husband and father.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy & Mamie Crocker, brothers, Gilbert Ray and Edward Crocker and grandson, Kelly Grant Crocker.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Ruth A. Crocker; son, Kelly Crocker (Ruth Watkins); daughter, Crickett McCown (Mark); grandchildren, Josh & Kyle Russelburg, Erin Garrison, Jenni Jines, Lindsey Noller, Erin Crocker, Kelsey Tolch & Aaron Watkins; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Everette Crocker of Capron, VA., Jimmy, Tommy & Grant Crocker all of N.C.; sisters, Lannie Rogerson of S.C., Allene Goolsey and Shirley Blackman both of N.C.
Graveside Service 10:00 AM Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville with Rev. William Carlisle & Pastor Leon Hatchett officiating. Military Rites by the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tues. and 9:00 AM until leaving for the cemetery at 9:45 AM Wed. at Koehler Funeral Home-Perigo Chapel 7022 Heim Road in Chandler.
