Bruce Darden, 62, of Evansville, passed away December 31, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 20, 1950 in Goldsboro, NC and was retired as a self-proprietor of a pest control company.
Bruce was a US Army
veteran, serving in Germany from July 1968 until June 1971. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including, local fishing trips, kayaking on Lake Michigan and attending the annual EAA Air Show in Osh Kosh, WI. He loved the Green Bay Packers football team and watched them every time he got the chance.
Surviving Bruce are his mother, Lucille Hoyer; daughters, Cindy Kingery and April Darden; grandchildren, Holli, Janaeya, Dayton, Jayden, Ivahn and Isaiah; sister, Pamela Lockridge Schellekens; brothers, David Lockridge, Ed Lockridge, Richard Lockridge and Jon Day along with nieces, Jennifer Hogan Harris, Star Wallace Pitman, Julie Fallon, Savannah Day and nephew, Tim Lockridge.
Funeral Services for Bruce will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin St with entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M until service time Monday at the funeral home.
