Cornelia M. Mulzer, 90, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012. She was born in Evanston, Ind., on April 23, 1922, to Henry and Frieda (Schultz) Mulzer.
Cornelia graduated in 1940, from Troy High School. After graduation she moved to Louisville, Ky., where she took care of elderly family members and later worked for several medical offices as a medical assistant. After 48 years in Louisville, she returned to Tell City in 2004.
She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church. While in Louisville, she was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where she served on the Alter Guild and also was a member of LWML. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Surviving are a sister, Selma Hagerdon, of Tell City, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert, William and infant, Rudolph Henry Mulzer; sisters, Mildred Scheiber and Alma Meta Mulzer.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. CST at St. John's Lutheran Church in Evanston. Pastor Michael Mueller will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Zoercher-Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church.
