Cyril A. Williams, 84, passed away at his home on April 26, 2013. Surviving are his two daughters Vicki Beck and Trena Morris, grandchildren; Aaron Beck (Nelly), Christina Beck, Brittany Cox (Brandon) and Dylan Morris, one great granddaughter Savannah Beck, a brother Fred, and a dear friend Bettie Engelbrecht. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Donnie Beck.
Cyril spent 25 years in masonry construction and the past 32 years with South Central Communications, where he was in construction and maintenance.
A graduate of F.J. Reitz High School, he lettered in football, and also lettered at Evansville College.
He was a Korean Veteran and served with the Second Division 23rd Medical Company, receiving two combat Bronze Stars at the May Massacre and Heartbreak Ridge. Cyril was a Kentucky Colonel and life time member of VFW Post 1114; he was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 2, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park with military rites. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VFW Post 1114
