Veronica "Ronnie" McManaway Siner
Evansville, Ind.
Veronica "Ronnie" (Andrusyk) McManaway Siner, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her home.
Ronnie was born in Shelburn, Indiana on July 6, 1926 to Benjamin and Eva (Atkielsky) Andrusyk. She graduated from Shelburn High School. Ronnie enjoyed dancing at the Eagles, VFW and the Owls; playing cards, playing Rummikub and bowling. She loved to read and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Ronnie is survived by her children, Beverly McManaway Hicks (Steven) of Austin, TX; James Edward McManaway (Ellen), Michael McManaway (Kelly), Mark McManaway (Debbie); stepson, Steve Siner (Carol Anne) of Vincennes, IN; stepson-in-law, Steve Fuson; grandchildren, Brad, Kyle, Neil, Grant and Megan McManaway, Creighton and Drew Hicks, Amy Paulson and Ben Boring; step grandchildren, Brad Fuson, Andy Fuson, Andrea Siner Evans, Ron Siner, Beth Fuson Cooks and Maria Siner Lange and 18 great grandchildren.
Ronnie is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James McManaway in 1978; her second husband of 29 years, John Siner in 2013; a step daughter, Judith Ann Fuson; grandchildren, Patrick Fuson and Candace McManaway; sisters, Helen Gorsky, Stella Sowinsky, Edna Rybak, and Ann Andrusyk; brothers, Joseph, Anthony, and John Andrusyk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday February 16, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 600 Herndon Dr., Evansville, IN 47711 with Father John Breidenbach celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 and from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the church.
