William "Revas" Rogers, 90, passed away Thurs. July 25, 2013 at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville.
Revas was a WW II US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Boonville VFW Post 3418.
He retired from the Warrick County CO-Op after working 30 + years. He was a member of Pleasant Chapel Presbyterian Church.
Revas loved hunting, fishing, gardening and his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Margary; daughter, Barbara Ann Rogers; son, Ronald Jay Rogers; grandson, Gary Wayne Hemmings; great-great granddaughter, Denise Lynn Lockyear; 2 sisters, Dessie Mitchell & Frona Hill; and 3 brothers, Elwood, Garland & Jesse Lee Rogers.
Revas is survived by his children, Beverly Lankford, Brenda Hudson (Stan), Bonnie Vilcsek, Becky Landrum (Jim), Betty Gresham (Frank), William Rogers (Marian) and Donald Rogers (Brenda) all of Boonville; 24 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Service 10:00 AM Sat. July 27, 2013 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery with military rites by the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time Sat. at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel.
