I want to express my deep sympathy to Pixie and Jim, who were close friends during our time at Indiana University. I last saw Pixie and Jim in 1985 and assume it must have been Beverly as she was pregnant at that time. I came across this sad news while searching for Elizabeth to let her know that we lost our friend Kevin Rendos on March 30th of this past spring (2025.) I am so sorry for these losses.

Jimmy and Elizabeth,

I am so sorry to hear of this tragic time in your families life! Working with you in the past at Fed Ex was very enjoyable and I recall you talking of Beverly so many times. I never had the privilege of meeting her, but by the words of so many she was a wonderful young lady. Please lean on God and know your family is in my prayers.

Beverly you were such a sweet and free spirited person. I always admired you for that. Although we knew each other little, every time I would be around you, your face was always lit up with a great smile. I know you are now with your baby boy watching over your family. Rest easy.
My thoughts and prayers will be with the Karns family.

Karns Family,
My daughter Mandy Murphy (Buchanan) went to Reitz with Bev and was in marching band with her. I went with the kids on several band trips and Bev was always such an amazing spirit to be around. Beverly was very kind. I remember her from high school. She always had the nicest things to say to everyone and had a beautiful smile on her face even during the toughest days. I am praying for her family and for her boys.

Knowing that no words, however heart felt, could be any comfort now; My family has some wonderful memories of all the summers we spent with your clan watching Beverly and Courtney play softball. After losing touch for over 10 years, we saw her interviewed briefly on local news a while back, and were pleased to see she hadn't lost any of her zest for life and enthusiasm. The world's a harder place without her.

Karns family,
I've known you all since I went to Reitz. I have had the honor of serving with Eric and I had the pleasure of knowing Beverly. She was a smart, funny, humble young lady that always seemed to find the good in everything. I am absolutely sorry for what had transpired. The good in this is now she is with Her first son and happy to be reunited. If there is every anything you all need please contact me.

Sincerely,
Jeremy Chang
