Newburgh, Ind.
Margaret E. Mitchum, 86, passed away, January 9, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on May 18, 1930 in Owensboro, KY to Bob and Esther (Maglinger) Reneer. She was a home maker and a member of Wayside Chapel in Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James Montgomery, Richard Bickford, and Clarence Mitchum. Margaret is survived by three sons, Dan Bickford (Arleen), Wayne Montgomery (Jenny), and Terry Montgomery (Susie); seven grandkids, thirteen great-grandkids, six great great-grandkids; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, and 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayside Chapel, Chandler, IN.

Aunt Libby will always be remembered and missed. She left quite a legacy. Widowed not once but three times in her personal life. Always in service to God, her family's, and community. She loved to garden, refurbish and restore back to new - or shall I say, things other people would throw away, she could fix . Her collectible dolls, I remember watching her sew new clothes for them, wash there hair , restyle w/curlers, making them look brand new! So many things . Couple years ago I remember her crocheting delicate yarn scrafs, giving them all (close to or over 1 hundred) away mostly to her mission church group in southern Illinois. And Family, and her local church group I am sure. In measurable acts of kindness. Dignity in family values, family tradition. Moral standards. I will never forget her. I hope the life lessons she administered to friends,
