Albert Martin Berseth, 91, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday August 14, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Albert and Mary Jane (Poulton) Berseth.
Albert was a member of Mensa and loyal Penn State football fan. He retired as a Chemical Engineer from Picco and Exxon with consulting services provided in Saudi Arabia and Canada. Albert was an elder and active member at many Presbyterian churches in Pittsburgh, Pa., Baton Rouge, La., and St. Petersburg, Fla. He was an avid "Mr. Fix-it" for family, friends and neighbors.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Andrew Berseth.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Virginia (Massey); sons, David Andrew Berseth, of Evansville, Ind., and Randall Lee Berseth, of Bear, DE; daughter, Carol Lynn Berseth, of Evansville, Ind.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Ruth Miller, of Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services. Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
