Our family's hope is for your comfort during this most difficult occasion. Barb was the best at reaching children and helping them to build upon their strengths. She had two of my sons in her 3rd grade class: the oldest was shy and Barb's set a goal for him to build his confidence and know that people wanted to hear his stories and see his art, the younger son needed to learn to put things into priority and accept direction from teachers. She surpassed these goals and both of them are changed individuals because of her influence. She was such a good soul and is already missed so much!

I just want to say that I thought Barb was a super good teacher. She had at least one of my boys...Alex. She taught him "organization". I remember this very, very well! I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart bleeds for your days ahead of aches and emptiness. I do hope you all pull thru it knowing she is with our Lord and Savior. What a great person she was. Prayers are with you all.

Barb was a childhood friend, a Class of 69 classmate, and we shared the proud profession of teaching. She and I had several discussions about education and children. We were kindred spirits as well with our love of sewing. Prayers to her family.

Mrs. Lehmann was my teacher and had three of my 4 children. We talk about her every year when we hang their stockings on our tree she made them. By request she made my youngest one too. May it comfort you to know just how many other familys will also think of her each year at Christmas. She was a great teacher and wonderful lady. My prayers are with your family.

With deepest Sympathies to the family of Barb Lehmann. Reading her obituary, I was admiring her years of being a teacher, and I wished I had met her. I graduated from GHS in 1972, and went to the Catholic school before that, so; I do wish the family to be comfort to know that she is with God, perhaps in a heavenly class room of her own. May God watch over you all.
