Dianna Greer
Boonville, Ind.
Dianna was Born in Muehlenberg County, Ky., on March 19, 1946, on the Malone farm to her father and mother, William and Betty Robinson. Her family moved to the Evansville area In 1950 when she was 4 years old, which is where she spent the rest of her years.
Dianna graduated from the old Central High School and married her soul mate in 1964. She and her husband, Melvin C. Greer worked side by side building and operating the Greater Evansville Raceway located in Chandler. Shortly thereafter, in 1968 Dianna and Melvin started Carpet Discount Center in Chandler, Ind., which is now known as Greer's Flooring America in Evansville. Dianna worked in the business and also at Central Industries to help support the family while getting the business started. As the business grew so did her involvement, eventually leaving Central Industries to operate the business full time. She was not only deeply involved with the business but also with her children. She was actively involved with her children, and later grandchildren, in raising and showing horses for over 25 years. Her love and dedication to her family was never failing no matter the situation. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and family matriarch that will be greatly missed.
Dianna leaves behind her husband of 49 years, Melvin C. Greer; children, Mel Greer(Tammy), Jason Greer(Micah), Amanda Oller (Jeremy); stepdaughter, Cheryl Reels; eight grandchildren, Justin Greer (Sarah), Maddy Brown, Lexi Greer, Trevor Cundiff, Olivia and Isabella Greer, and Ryan Gardner and Chelsea Reels, Sarah and Emma Oller;
