Donna Jo (Cole) Blythe

Donna Jo (Cole) Blythe, 68, of Evansville, Ind., passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016, at her home in Evansville.
Donna was born in Evansville, Ind., on December 4, 1947, to the late Joseph and Madge (Richards) Cole. Donna was employed with Holl and Korn Furniture Company as an office manager for 30 years and also worked at the jewelry counter at J.C. Penney for nine years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cross stitching and bowling. Donna was adventurous and loved to travel. She especially loved going on cruises.
Donna is survived by daughter, Jennifer Crockett (Robie), of Louisville, Ky.; sister, Cheryl Drake (David); brothers, Eddie Cole (Sharon) and Danny Cole, all of Evansville, Ind.; and grandchildren, Ava and Ella Crockett.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, David Blythe in 2012; and by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville, Ind.
Friends may visit from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Browning Funeral Home and again at 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
