Donna Susan Nicholson
Evansville, Ind.
Donna Susan Nicholson, 61, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at her home.
Donna was born in Evansville, Ind., on March 16, 1952, to the late Jack and Doris Lee (Mogan) Nicholson. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Evansville School of Nursing.
Donna was a Surgical Technician and a Register Nurse. She worked at Community Methodist Hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center, and various nursing homes. Donna attended St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a loyal friend to all, a very compassionate and empathetic person who loved her family, all animals, and selflessly cared for others.
Donna is survived by her son, Jonah David (Heather) Hust, of Evansville, Ind.; daughter, Nicole Lee Hibbs, of Evansville, Ind.; sister, Linda Diane Nicholson, of Bloomington, Ind.; grandchildren, Gage Aaron Montgomery, Baleigh Nicole Montgomery, Jack David Montgomery; aunt, Bobby Wilcher; cousins, Barbara Jean Galloway and Larry Gordon Wilcher. Donna will be deeply missed by everyone, especially her close friends, Darlene Sims, Wilda Bisesi and Pat Hayes.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Deacon Dennis Russell officiating.
Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Browning Funeral Home.
