Ella Delores Burch 85, formerly of Island, Kentucky died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Riverside Manor Health Care Center in Calhoun. Ella Delores White was born April 26, 1928 in Logan County, West Virginia to the late Samuel Hill and Edyth Mae Vickers White. Delores retired as a private duty sitter for the elderly, was a member of the Baptist Faith, and loved playing bingo. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by a son, David Burch, who died June 8, 2008.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Lanny and Carol Burch of Hopkinsville and Roger and Judy Burch of Central City; two daughters and their husbands, Vickie and Ron Timmons of Bremen and Sheila and Charlie Payne of Calhoun; ten grandchildren, Shannon Burch, Adam Burch, Lanna Hancock, Michelle Smith, Crystal Crowe, Patricia Carman, Renee Gutierrez, Andrea Power, Whitney Burch, and Amanda Pellegrino; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Opal Hammock of Calhoun and Doreen Carroll of Central City.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Brumfield officiating. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Delores' family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
