Jean Val Storms
Evansville, Ind.
Jean Val Storms, 89, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Jean was born in Evansville, Indiana on January 10, 1922 to Perry and Bernice (Kendell) Storms. He was a United States Army veteran of WW II and received a Purple Heart. Jean worked at Chrysler for several years and later at ARKLA until his retirement in 1984. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Jean enjoyed traveling with his wife throughout North America, Canada, and Mexico.
Jean is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary L. (Smiley) Storms of Evansville, IN; daughters, Pamela S. Puckett of Evansville, IN; Valerie L. Hoffman (James) of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Jason Puckett of Indianapolis, IN; Lauren Puckett of Grand Rapids, MI; Angela Martin of Pensacola, FL; Michael Gray of Evansville, IN; five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
