Jeffrey J. Lannert
Newburgh, Ind.
Jeffrey J. Lannert, 58, of Newburgh passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013.
Jeffrey was born July 11, 1954, in Evansville. He practiced his positive work ethic at the EVSC for 18 years in the maintenance department where he was a plaster/ insulator. Jeff was an extremely creative inventor and applied for two patents throughout the years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed anything on the water including boating, water skiing and fishing. Jeff also enjoyed all things fast such as motorcycles and sports cars. But Jeff's best attribute was his generous and kind heart. He was always fun to be around and was known to supply the smoker and bar-b-que for any occasion if asked. Jeff was well loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Ann (Baumgart) Lannert, of Evansville; and siblings, Christine (Thomas) Beasley, of Newburgh, Melinda (JD) Wood, of Providence, Ky., Gregory Lannert, of Evansville, Lisa (Charles) Haralson, of Newburgh, and Aimee (Terrance) McCarthy, of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard J. Lannert.
Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Burial will be private.
