Joan Alice (Ipock) Fulps, 56, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at her home.
Joan was born in Evansville, Ind., on March 17, 1957, to Charles Hayden and Tanya Elizabeth (Shake) Ipock. She worked at Gertha's Nursing Home as an aide. Later she worked at Columbia Health Care and Arc Industries and earned the title of a Qualified Medication Aid. Joan was a member of the Westside Seventh Day Adventist Church and survived the November 6, 2005 tornado. She loved all of her pets including her puppy, Mimsey.
Joan is survived by her husband of over 22 years, Jacob Fulps, of Evansville, Ind., son, Jason (Jen) Tepool, of Colo.; father, Charles Hayden Ipock, of Evansville, Ind; half-sister, Jo Ellen Rheinlander; brothers, Steve (Collette) Ipock, of Evansville, Ind., and Jim Ipock, of Evansville, Ind.; granddaughter, Abagail Tepool; grandson, Benjamin Tepool; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Joan is preceded in death by her mother, Tanya Elizabeth Ipock; and a brother, David Ipock; her pets, Kasey, Bebe, Mr. Socks and Rambo.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN with Pastor Bob Lloyd officiating.
Friends may visit from noon until service time, Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Browning Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Hayes and his staff for all of the care they have shown Joan.
