Like most CHS graduates, I have many fond memories of Joe, both as a coach and in the classroom, and thus share in the grief of his death. What stands out most in my memories was his great sense of humor. George Steinsberger

To the famlly of Joe Hafele: Am so sorry for your loss. I didnt know him well since I didnt go to CHS..but had him for insurance agent and he was very nice. I lived in Cannelton 15 yrs and all 3 of my girls graduated CHS. And my cousin-in-law Pauline Marshall taught with him at CHS. Will be praying for his wife and children and all the family. Love & Prayers, Becky (Marshall) DuPont-Davis TC
