Joseph Kostrzebski, 90, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Kostrzebski retired after 31 years from Bucyrus Erie, was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the St. Philip Conservation Club and the Y.M.C.A.
Mr. Kostrzebski was preceded in death by his wife, Janina in 1992.
He is survived by his daughter, Kris Beckham; two sons, John Kostrzebski and Richard (Karen) Kostrzebski, all of Evansville; seven grandchildren, David (Nikki) Beckham, Kenny (Samantha) Beckham, Casey Kostrzebski, Andy (Meghann) Kostrzebski, Jesse Hicks, Hali Knight-Gardner and Abigail Knight-Gardner; and a great-grandson, Bodie Beckham.
A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rev. Kenneth Herr officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where a memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday at St. Boniface Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip Conservation Club, the Y.M.C.A. or Breast Cancer Awareness.
