Evansville, Indiana
76, of Evansville, passed away at home on February 15, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 18, 1937 to George and Anna E. (Matz) Weber.
Kathryn retired from American General Finance in 2001. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, where she spent many hours volunteering, and was inducted into the Simon Brute Society.
She is survived by husband of 56 years, James A. Altstadt, daughters, Karen Sue Miller (Scott) of Lee's Summit, MO, Cheryl Lynn Steele (Scott), Joan M. Duggan (Kent) both of Evansville, and Beth A, Barnett (Sean) of Brownsburg, IN, brothers, Clement, Clarence, Robert and Eugene Weber, all of Evansville, sister-in-law Katherine Weber, sisters, Mary Seib of Evansville and Betty Kamuf of Cincinnati, OH, 12 grandchildren, Tony and Matt Gumbel, Nicole Reed, Dan and Emily Miller, Andy and Kelli Duggan, Ellie and Avery Barnett, Austin, Amber and Ashley Steele, and great grandchildren, Ayden Callow and Joscelyn Gumbel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Weber, and a brother, Charles Weber in 2011.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 North First Ave., Evansville, where memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00 at the church with Father Paul Ferguson officiating.
Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum,
