Kenneth E. Feldhaus, 73, of Evansville, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center. He was born December 4, 1938, in Evansville, to the late Edwin and Irene Feldhaus.
Kenneth retired from the L&N Railroad as an engineer in 1988, after 28 years.
He graduated from Reitz High School in 1956, and served in the Navy from 1956-1959.
Kenneth was a member of the Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine and Lessing Masonic Lodge No. 464.
His favorite thing was spending time with his granddaughter. He was very proud of her and her academic achievements. Kenneth enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and a good cigar.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Deborah Parmley, of Poseyville, Ind., and Diana Combs, of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; granddaughter, Lauren Michele Parmley, of Indianapolis, Ind.; special cousins, Wayne, Marvin and Jeff Feldhaus; and a host more cousins.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Alexander Memorial Park, Heritage Chapel, with burial to follow. Friends may visit Monday from noon to 1 p.m. at the cemetery, where a Masonic Service will be held by the Lessing Lodge No. 464.
The family would like to thank the entire staff, especially John, at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center for their wonderful care.
