Larry N. Schofield
Evansville, IN
Larry N. Schofield, 60, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at home after a courageous battle with Melanoma Cancer. He was born on November 3, 1952 to Norman and Mary (Therber) Schofield.
Larry graduated in 1970 from North High School. He was previously employed at Federal Produce for 10 years and was currently employed for 31 years at Riverbend Association. Larry was a life member of the Riverbend Association.
Larry enjoyed Nascar races, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr., golfing, bowling, and going to his grandchildren's sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman E. Schofield; and brother-in-law, John McAndrews.
Larry is survived by his fiancée, Kathy Schapker Vaughn; mother, Mary Schofield; sisters, Vicki McAndrews of Cleveland, TX and Nancy Bagwell of Ward, Arkansas; brother, Gary Schofield of Evansville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; Kathy's children, Dave (Cassie), Tim, Lindsey, Dustin Nosko (Amanda); and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Dr., Evansville, IN with burial at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN 47712 and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at Alexander Memorial Park.
