Lee "Kathleen" (Bethel) VanBibber, 90 , of Evansville passed away Friday April 26, 2013 at Newburgh Health Care.
Kathleen retired from General Tire and Rubber. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Alter Society and volunteered in the cafeteria. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Owen VanBibber; daughter-in-law, Debbie VanBibber; 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Terry VanBibber (Stephanie) of Greenwood, IN, Walter VanBibber of Frostproff, FL, Timothy VanBibber (Connie ) of St. Charles, MO, Christopher VanBibber (Corrine) of Gainsville, GA and Daniel VanBibber (Debbie Henderson) of Gentryville, IN; daughter, Leah Epley (David) of Mt. Vernon, IN; grandchildren, Heath and Bobby VanBibber, Lee Ann Hyman, Nathen, Shelly, Rachel, Brian, David and Shannon VanBibber, Heather Humphrey, John, Tonya and Daniel VanBibber, Michele Short, Warren, Michael and Brianna Epley; great grandchildren, Shelby, Kenley, Kimmie, A.J., Nick and Hannah VanBibber, Jax and Addie Hyman, Jim Humphrey, Tristan Huenke, Quinton and Gabe VanBibber, MaKayla Short and River York; brother, Frank Bethel; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday April 28, 2013 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue from 9:30 - 10:00 am Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd., Evansville, IN 47715.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am Monday April 29, 2013 at the church with Fr. Tom Kessler officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
