Leonard O. "L.O." Robb, was born January 26, 1922 in Poseyville, IN and died October 31, 2013 at the home of his granddaughter, Pamela Schneider and her husband, Mark in Evansville. Special thanks goes to his great grandson, Devin Essary and to Casey and Monica of Gentiva Hospice. L.O. was the third of five children of Samuel Robb and Hester Allison. He worked in Kodiak, Alaska during the early part of World War II, joined the Army Air Force and graduated as a fighter/bomber pilot.
L.O. and his wife of 59 years, Ernestyne M. (Howard) Robb lived in Mt. Vernon and ran their own construction company until he retired at the age of 52. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golf and traveling in the United States, Mexico, Canada and abroad. He was a founding member of Western Hills Country Club and a lifetime member of the Elks and the American Legion.
L.O. is now with his wife Ernestyne, daughter, Roxy Dawn, his sisters, Mary Robb Bryant, Joyce Robb Schmitt and brothers, Herb Robb and Kenneth Robb, who all preceded him in death.
Leonard is also survived by his son, Gary Keith Robb of Oakland, CA; grandkids, Morgan Miller of Jacksonville, FL, Shella Miller of Evansville, Jessica Schneider of Evansville and April Diehl of Evansville and eight great grandkids (who all loved when he played his harmonica).

His ashes will be placed beside his wife's and daughter's at Marle Hill Cemetery in New Harmony during a private ceremony. There will be no services or visitation per L.O.'s request.
