Malcolm 'Ted' Garrison
Evansville, Ind.
Malcolm "Ted" Garrison, 92, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012.
Ted graduated from Stewartsville High in 1938.
He was a US Army Veteran serving in World War II as a First Sargent in the Signal Corps in Europe.
Ted retired from Boetticher and Kellogg and was a member of Salem Church of Darmstadt.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary L. Garrison; daughter, Patricia Garrison; brother, Robert Garrison; sister, Gladys Davis.
He is survived by daughter, Nancy J. Freeman, and husband, Randall of Haubstadt; son, James M. Garrison, of Evansville; five grandchildren, Shannon Ottman (David), Christopher Freeman, Jill Russell, Cory Garrison and Jenny Copeland (Jason); four great-grandchildren, Blaine Ottman, Jenna Ottman, Tanner Russell and Gavin Copeland; brother, Thomas Garrison (Mary Catherine); sister-in-law, Juanita Marvel-Hayden; brother-in-law, John Davis; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Yankee Davis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday July 17, 2012, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor David Peterson, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 4 to 8 p.m. Monday July 16, 2012, at the funeral home and 9 a.m. to service time on Tuesday.
