Margie Jean Angermeier
Mount Vernon, Ind.
Margie Jean Angermeier, 91, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at The Waters of Princeton. She was born September 23, 1922 in Posey County, Ind., to Henry C. and Emma O. (Miller) Espenlaub.
Margie was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, Class of 1941. She retired from Allyn Abstracting in 1992. Margie was a long time member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, active participant in Posey County Ladies' Home Economics Club, and county wide 4-H Council. Hobbies she enjoyed were flower gardening, cooking, and travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil G. Angermeier.
Margie is survived by her daughter, Glenda (Jerry) Elpers, of Haubstadt, Ind.; sons, Paul (Betsy) Angermeier, of Blacksburg, Va., and Glenn (Margaret) Angermeier, of Vienna, Va.; four grandchildren, Christy (Mark) Luebke, Sherry (Patrick) Fullington; Sarah and Bonnie Angermeier; and three great-grandchildren, Holly and Haley Fullington and Adalynn Luebke.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Immanuel United Church of Christ 5812 N. Ford Road Mount Vernon, with Rev. Doug Turner officiating and burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Schneider Funeral Home 512 Main St., Mount Vernon, Ind., and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
