Meghan A. Elpers, age 22, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Meghan was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt; a 2010 graduate of Central High School and a member of the Vanderburgh County 4H Fair Board. She was a full-time student at the University of Southern Indiana and also employed at Kraft Nursery, Inc., a family owned business. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Meghan never met a stranger; enjoyed tractor pulling; loved the outdoors, her flowers, animals in general, but especially her dogs.
Surviving Meghan are her parents, Ted and Julie (Baehl) Elpers of Evansville; her brother, Tyler Elpers; grandparents, Bernard and Ruthie Baehl and Mildred Elpers, all of Haubstadt; many aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and many very special, close friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Virgil Elpers; aunt, Cindy Hoehn and cousin, Aaron Baehl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Friday at St. James Catholic Church, Rev. Kenneth Betz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at St. James Catholic Church, 12300 South 50 West, Haubstadt, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society or to the .
