Mike Maddox, 61, of Evansville passed away Tuesday January 8, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
The love of his life was his wife and family. Mike graduated from the University of Southern Indiana and was employed at TJ Maxx as Financial Control Supervisor for 26 years. He was a member of St. Benedict Cathedral, Bingo Association, and Boy Scout Troop #99. Mike enjoyed auctions, B.S. & T.ing and member of Evansville Knife Club.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Maitland and Mary Maddox and brother, Mait Maddox.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Phyllis; daughter, Michelle Beckner of Evansville, IN; sons, Joshua M. Maddox, Jacob M. Maddox both of Boise, ID, Matthew M. Maddox of Evansville, IN; sister, Susan Smith; brother, James Maddox; 11 nieces and nephews and 18 cousins.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm Friday January 11, 2013 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with a memorial service at 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 am Saturday at the funeral home and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with Fr. Joseph Ziliak officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
