Pamela G. Barrett

Pamela Gail Barrett, 64, passed away peacefully November 22, 2013 at Deaconess Hospice Center. She was born in Evansville, 1949, to Raymond K. and Julia Mae Moore. Pamela graduated from Bosse High School. On August 30, 1969 she married Dan Barrett. Together they shared more than 44 years of marriage. Pamela was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church in Newburgh. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was nurturing, loving, selfless and loved by many. She will be missed deeply.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, R.K. "Doc" Moore. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Dan Barrett, mother, Julia Mae Moore, daughter, Jamie (William) Nunn, grandchildren, Drake Barrett, William Nunn, Elizabeth Nunn and Alexandria Nunn, and brothers, Tony and Gary Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made, in memory of Pamela Barrett, to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Bereavement dinner to follow funeral at Morningside Presbyterian Church.

Jamie and dan, I am sorry for your loss. Pam and I used to write letters back and forth updates on family. I know she will be missed by all. But she is my best friend. She showed me alot of ways to be cool. Jamie and I used to play together and do stuff. Pam and I used to go shopping. Just like my mom. Pam I love you and always be in my heart. Jamie if you need me. DAN AND JAMIE...YOU KNOW YOU ARE SO PART OF OUR FAMILY ALL THESE YEARS. PAM IS SUCH A SPECIAL LADY WITH A BIG GIVING HEART. APPRECIATE HOW SHE WAS ALWAYS CHECKING ON MOM. Uncle Dan and Jamie: I am so sorry about Aunt Pam's passing. I remember meeting her the first time when I was a young, extremely shy child. I felt an immediate connection to her.
