Wilma Ruth Brauser Scott, 78, of Dixon, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Dixon, Ky. She loved quilting, crocheting, cooking and gardening. She was a Homemaker and loved to help take care of others. She had volunteered for St. Anthony's Hospice for over 20 years. She also had been a School Bus Monitor for the Webster County School System.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Mack M. Scott, of Dixon, Ky.; two daughters, Ruth Ann Head and her husband, Rodney, of Henderson, Ky., and Judy Whitledge and her husband, Keith of Dixon, Ky.; two sons, Dennis Scott and his wife, Merre Kay, of Henderson, Ky., and Mark Scott and his wife, Raegina, of Poole, Ky.; one sister, Lucille Holloway, of Princeton, Ky.; one brother, Kenneth Brauser, of Mount Vernon, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, Ky., on Monday, April 22, 2013, at 1 p.m. Rev. Jeff Eaton, Rev. Ellis Payne and Bro. Alan Alfred will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, Ky. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
