Dennis R. Williamson
Evansville, Ind.
Dennis R. Williamson, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital.
He was born July 26, 1936, in Evansville, to the late Howard and Mary D. Williamson.
He retired from Small and Schlosky, and was a member of the VFW#1114 and the Owls. Dennis did carpet binding for hospitals and schools, and was one of the only carpet adjusters in the area.
Dennis was preceded in death by brothers, Sherman and Gilbert Williamson.
Survived by his wife of 43 years, Doris; daughters, Sherry Williamson, Denise Luebbe, and Diana Timson; son, Jerry Williamson; grandchildren, Clara, Debra, Dylan, Timothy, Desiree, Mary, Stephen, Amy, Rachel, Nichole, and Sumer; ten great-grandchildren; brother, David Williamson; sisters, Delores Simmons, Carolyn Gamblin, Cynthia Anderson, and Rebecca Clements; and nieces and nephews.
Services 9 a.m. Friday May 4, 2012, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Father Ted Tempel. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
