Evansville, Ind.
Dora Kuhen Greenberg, 93, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at her home. She was born October 13, 1920 in Evansville, Ind., to Chester and Lattie (Hays) Kuhen.
Dora was baptized one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 6, 1956. She attended the Southeast Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was an active proclaimer of God's Word to anyone willing to listen about the Bible and the hope it holds out for mankind.
She was a homemaker, seamstress, and evangelizer, and babysitter for all her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and learner of anything of interest to her.
Dora was preceded in death by husband of 62 and a half years, Harold "Hank" Greenberg, on January 25, 2002; her parents; sister, Ruby Brown; stepmother, Ophia Kuhen; five stepbrothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Harold "Hank" Greenberg, II (Kathy); daughter, Danyne Ivey; sisters, Virginia Rech, Jeanette Brinker, Chestine Kuester; stepbrother, Robert Garrett; grandchildren, Kemberle Weightman, Jonna Greenberg Goad (Damon), Harold "Bud" Greenberg, III (Nancy), Mindy Ivey Hammond (Rodney), Scott Ivey (DeeDee); great-grandchildren, Sierah and Rhyan Weightman, (Kemberle's), Hannah Goad Leithliter (Jake) and Jessie and Levi Goad (Jonna's), Kourtney and Kody Greenberg (Bud's), Jacob and Logan (Chan) Tyler Ivey, Macey Hammond (Mindy's), Brandon and Jessica Ivey, Sarah and Stephen March (Scott's); great-great-grandchilderen, Riley March and baby girl due August 9, 2014, to Logan and Chan Ivey; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel 800 S. Hebron Ave. Evansville, IN 47714.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Kingdom Hall Southeast Congregation 1530 Burdette Avenue Evansville, IN 47714 with Elder "Spiritual Brother" and friend Lee Parrish officiating.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and their staff (Dr. Hall, Nurses Nicole and Nikki, Tech Lindsay) for all their help and support during this time.
