Paul J. Meth
Paul J. Meth, 77, of Evansville passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014. He was born March 20, 1937 to Paul and Elnora (Klueh) Meth.
Paul was a loving husband and father. He retired from the Evansville Police Department in 1985 after 22 years of service and was a member of the FOP. He also retired from IMI after 18 years. Paul was a graduate of Memorial High School and member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He enjoyed Nascar racing and riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Meth in 2010; brother Harold Meth; and sister Alice Schaefer.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Jo Ann; daughter Kathryn Meth of Honolulu, HI; and sister Mary Jean Holder of Evansville.
Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 15 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 and continuing from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 N Stockwell Rd, Evansville, IN 47715 where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Father Zach Etienne officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery where the Fraternal Order of Police will conduct graveside services.
