Alma Jean (Wilson) Hendricks
Evansville, Ind.
Alma Jean (Wilson) Hendricks, 75, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital.
Alma was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 16, 1938 to the late Roy and Myrtle (Elder) Wilson. She was very devoted to her faith in God and centered her world around her children and grandchildren. Alma taught her family to always love and cherish one another. Alma was a Sunday School Teacher at Cathedral of Praise Church. She contributed generously to her church, Feed the Children, the Salvation Army, and many various organizations, always helping those in need. She worked as a machinist at Crescent Plastics, where she was a Union Steward for the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.
Alma is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Keith) Masterson, Tammy (Jeff) Anderson, Crystal Hendricks; sister, Violet Davidson; and a brother, Victor Wilson all of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Masterson, Jordan and Cohner Payne, Chance Anderson, Miriah and Dillon Robison; special nieces and nephews.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years , Henry Earl Hendricks; her parents; and siblings, Brenda Sue Case, Nora Osborne, Floretta Smith, Juanita Phelps, Elmer Wilson, Bob Wilson and Tommy Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Locust Hill Mausoleum, 3800 Kratzville Rd., Evansville, IN 47710 with Pastor Bret Myers officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the C.O.P.D. Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Miami, FL, 33134.
