Larry Ray Robinson
Newburgh, IN
Larry Ray Robinson, 69 of Newburgh, IN passed away at 7:35 pm, Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his home with family and his beloved pet, Rebel, by his side.
Larry was born June 18, 1944 in Evansville the son of the late John and Ruth (Embry) Robinson and attended Central High School. He had worked at BE, International Steel, Arkla, and retired from DSM Plastics in 1996. Larry loved to play pool and was a member of the APA 8 and 9 Ball Leagues in Evansville.
He is survived by daughters, Sherri Eslinger (John) of Evansville and Kristi Held (Charles) of Chandler, IN, sons, Larry D. Robinson (Sarah) of Henderson, KY and John Robinson of Evansville, sister, Jeanie Clegg (Herb) of Chandler, IN, brother, Tony Robinson of Evansville, grandchildren, Cameron Chrockrem, Brooke, Joseph, Chloe and Madison Eslinger, Kelsey, Ethan and Hunter Held, Jude Robinson and Chase Jones and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who meant so much to him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Phyllis (Caringer) Robinson in March 2011 and granddaughter, Megan Held.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Monday, May 12, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Pastor Alan Bush and Bill Barnes officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 3 pm until 7 pm, Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel and again from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm, Monday.
