Lawrence B. France
Evansville, IN
Lawrence B. France, 88, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at North Park Nursing Center. He was born December 19, 1925 to the late Ivan and Elnora (Swope) France.
Larry was a member of McCutchanville Community Church. He served in the US Marines during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion. For 38 years, Larry worked at American General and was a 50 year member of the McCutchanville Fire Department. He was an accomplished bowler, winning numerous awards, and enjoyed reading and working puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Elnora France; brother, Jim; and, sisters, Jean and Evelyn.
Larry is survived by his brothers, Raymond (Audrey) France and Curtis (Ruth) France; and, sister, Lois France.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service at McCutchanville Church Cemetery will be held at a later date.
