Robert "Bob" Kingsbury
Evansville, IN
Robert J. "Bob" Kingsbury, 84, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, at Good Samaritan Home. He was born on June 4, 1929 to the late Myrtle and Revel Kingsbury.
He was a veteran of the US Marines and retired from Alcoa. Bob loved being outdoors. He was an animal lover, and very fond of his pets. An avid builder of dune buggies, Bob participated in the Evansville Bug Fest.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Irmalee; daughters, Alanah (Jeffrey) Richardt and Dawn Whobrey, all of Evansville; son, Robert Scott (Michelle) Kingsbury of Evansville; brother, Richard Kingsbury of Evansville; grandchildren, Jeffrey B. Richardt, Reagan Whobrey, Bryce Richardt, Joshua Whobrey, Preston Richardt, Justin Kingsbury and Thomas Kingsbury; eight great-children; and, several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Millner Drive, Evansville IN 47710. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderNorthChapel.com.
