Linda (Crow) Houghton
Evansville, Ind.
Linda Darlene (Crow) Houghton, 63, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital.
Linda was born in Evansville, Indiana, on August 13, 1950, to James and Darlene (Stuteville) Crow. Linda loved to crochet and was very good at it. She also enjoyed playing the lottery, bingo, and enjoyed get away's with family and friends. Linda previously worked for Columbia Nursing Home and currently at Bethel Manor.
Linda is survived by her husband of 35 years, James "Jim" Houghton; daughter, Tina (Jeremy) Francis; sons, Eric (Tawani) Dockery, Ron (Jeanna) Houghton, Delbert Houghton, and James Houghton Jr.; brothers, Jim Jr., Charles, Rodger, Jerry, Rick and Todd Crow; grandchildren, Spencer, Adrian, Beth, Kendellyn, Jeremiah, Dalton and Elyse; two great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Dockery.
Linda is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Dockery; her parents; and a brother, David Crow.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor Dave Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, and again Wednesday from noon until time of service at Browning Funeral Home.
