Gloria Lee (Wilson) Kuhlenhoelter, 79, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her son's home in Shelbyville, Indiana. Gloria was born in Evansville on September 30, 1934.
Gloria was a graduate of Bosse High School, former Director of Housing for USI, and proudly known as the Ambassador of the family.
Gloria is survived by her sons, Dr. Bill (Debbie) Foster, of Shelbyville, IN, and Dennis (Karen) Kuhlenhoelter, of Evansville, IN; a daughter, Toni Lee (Kenny) Bishop, of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Arlene "Aunt Pudge" (Uncle Clifford) Lauderdale; brother-in-law, James Kelly; sister-in-law, Shirley Kuhlenhoelter; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other close relatives and friends.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Henry "Ivan" Kuhlenhoelter; parents Edna (Warren) and William I. Wilson; sisters, Aileen "Aunt Leen" Hayes and Celeste "Aunt Teen" Kelly; and a brother, Wilbur Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave. Evansville, IN, with Rev. Angie Raylea of Fresh Air Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Browning Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hadi Shrine Temple of Evansville, 6 Walnut St., Evansville, IN 47708 with proceeds going to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
