Doris E. Hatt, 72, of Evansville, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital.
Doris was born July 5, 1941, in Union County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Walter "Buck" and Mildred (Hill) Roland. She was a 30 plus year member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Doris retired from the Vanderburgh County Recorder's Office. She was a Kentucky Colonel and an avid bowler.
She is survived by daughter, Carrie Hatt-Figueroa (Tony), of Evansville; son, Daniel Hatt (Chanda), of Evansville; and two grandchildren, Zane and Zoey Hatt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Sheryl Ziegler and OHA for their loving care of Doris and the entire family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Michigan Street, Evansville, with Pastor Matt Schilling and Pastor Chad Eckels officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 until 7 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville and again from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
