David Von Woolston Sr., 66, passed away June 4, 2014, at his residence.
Born April 13, 1948, in Fort Branch, he was the son of Ennes and Ruby (Scales) Woolston. He married Carolyn S. Hodges July 2, 1966. He owned Woolston Heating and Cooling and was a 1966 graduate of Paoli High School. He was a member of the First Church of God and a former volunteer of the Mitchell Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Kimberly D. (Tom) Porter and Holly A. (Greg) Davis; son, David (Paula) Woolston Jr; six grandchildren; siblings, Betty Shaw, Beulah Miller, Carol Davis, Donald Woolston, Kenny Woolston, Judy Buck, Denny Woolston, Zella Frey and Steve Woolston.
He was preceded in death by parents; and siblings, Fred, Jerry, Bill and Bob Woolston and Thelma Shaw.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Mitchell, Ind., with Rev. Robert Courson, Jr. officiating. Burial will be Fairview Cemetery in Orleans. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
