Leatha L. Rogers, age 83, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Deaconess VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center.
Leatha was a homemaker. She was a member of St. James United Methodist West Church, 50 year member of the Hilltopper's Home Extension Club and a charter member of the local Eastern Star. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Deaconess Hospital.
Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia (Eddie) Wessel, Amy Jo (Brad) Condon and Traci (John) Kettinger; son, Scott Rogers, brother, Michael Grove; eight grandchildren, Brian Wessel, Brooke Smith, Megan, Leslee, Phillip and Rebecca Kettinger, Steven and Timmy Harrison and 8 great grandchildren, Brendon Smith, Hayley Wessel, Aedon Smith, Amberly Wessel, Liam Wessel, Alexander Kettinger, Noah Kettinger and Haley Harrison.
Leatha was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Rogers in 1995 and by her daughter, Susie Moser.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center.
Funeral services for Leatha will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Gene Backes officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home.
