Stephen A. Smith
Evansville, Ind.
Stephen A. Smith, 51, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence.
Stephen was born in Kokomo, Indiana on June 24, 1963 to Ronald and Roberta (Mulzer) Smith. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended the New England Culinary Institute and the University of Evansville. He also studied in England at Harlexton University. Stephen owned and operated the LaStrada Restaurant and Cafe Golightly in Evansville. He enjoyed traveling to Scotland, Mexico and France and scuba diving with his daughters.
Stephen is survived by his daughters, Greta E. Smith of Bloomington, IN and Alyssa "Aly" N. Smith of Evansville, Parents, Ronald "Ron" and Roberta Smith of Evansville, IN, Niece, Kylee D. Wilson of Evansville, IN.
Stephen is preceded in death by his sister, Jane C. Smith.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. with Rev. Randy Anderson officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home.
