Carole S. Hirsch, 74 of Evansville passed away at 3:20 pm, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Care Center.
Carole was born January 28, 1940 in Oologah, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Herschel and Dorthea (Dikeman) Baldwin. She graduated from Oologah High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed in California in 1958-59. Carole co-owned and operated Hirsch's Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Service in Haubstadt and was also employed at Sam's Club on the floor as a demo lady. She was an accomplished quilter and served as president of the Raintree Quilter's Guild in 1997-1998.
She is survived by daughter, Sheri Meier (James "Toby") of Boonville, IN, son, Chris Hirsch of Crawford County, IN, sisters, Nadine Carter of Oklahoma City, OK and Maxine Dosier of Oologah, OK, grandchildren, Tracina Hirsch-Cabitto, Amber Hirsch, Jeremie Hirsch, Shawna Hirsch-Darnell, Laura Egan, Jacob Egan, Preston Hirsch and Delaney Hirsch and great-granddaughter, Shaleigh Darnell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Nicholas and Kelly Hirsch and brother, Bill Baldwin.
Funeral Services and burial will be Private.
