Patricia Ann Tate Long
Patricia Ann "Patsy" (Kellen) Tate Long, 67, of Evansville, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus.
Mrs. Long was a homemaker and had worked for Hilliard Lyons as a receptionist for seven years. She, along with her husband, Phil Long, owned and operated the Branding Iron Country Western Dance Studio for 15 years. Patsy was the heart and soul of the Branding Iron and enjoyed spending time dancing, gardening and being with her friends.
Surviving are her husband, Phil Long; two daughters, Tasha Munos, of Indianapolis, Ind., and her children, Brayden, Hallie and Anthony Powers, and Megan (Adam) Bonke, of Evansville, and her children, Tate, Presley and Parker Bonke; two sons, Mike Tate, of Osage, Kan., and his daughter, Kilene Tate, and Chad (Cammy) Tate, of Morganfield, Ky., and his children, Chase, Hunter, Amelia and Isabella Tate; two sisters, Carolyn (Jerry) Crowdus, of Henderson, Ky., and Mary Lee Sutherland, of Newburgh; and a brother, Ronnie (Debbie) Kellen, of Morganfield, Ky. Also surviving are her former husband and father of her children, Mike Tate, of Osage, Kan.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Anthony and Teresa (Hagan) Kellen; and by two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Kellen.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
