Kristy Kay (Knight) Hoover
Boonville, Ind.
Kristy Kay (Knight) Hoover, 51, joined the angels on the 18th, now she is in our hearts.
Kristy was born July 3, 1963, in Evansville, to Laverne and Vernon "Jr" Knight.
She was a member of St. John's United Church Of Christ, in Boonville, where she was an Elder and was active with the ASP.
She was a graduate of Boonville High School Class of 1981, and graduate of Vincennes University Class of 1983. She was in Sorority AOX at Vincennes.
Kristy's favorite pastime was watching her daughter, Allie play softball and she enjoyed cooking and working at Vectren Culley Station.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Allean Sandage, Vernon Sr. and Jean Knight and Irean and Harry Rhineburger.
Kristy is survived by her husband, William "Willie" Hoover, married on Sept. 17, 1983; her parents, Laverne and Junior Knight; daughter, Allie Kay Hoover; mother and father-in-law, Benard K. and Joyce K. Rose; sister-in-laws, Kim (Donnie) Feaster, all of Galveston, IN, and Amanda (Mike) Whybrew, of Bunker Hill, IN.; brother-in-law, Robert (Jenni) Hoover, of Bluffton, IN.; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and several special cousins.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at St. John's United Church Of Christ in Boonville, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. Monday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Kristy may be made to St. John's United Church Of Christ after school program.
